I can see clearly now!!

We have successfully MOVED. No more going back and forth to California except to see friends and visit wonderful CeCeCaldwell Retailers up and down the coast. Welcome to Prescott, AZ., we are HOME! Just look at this view I wake up to every morning, not just from one area of our house but from every room. This is as close to heaven as I want to be for a few more years.

My studio is completely set up, workshops are underway and the most wonderful thing ever, I get to PAINT. I'm loving all the doors that have opened and closed in my life....if certain things wouldn't have happened or experienced I wouldn't be where I am today.
Enough said for now....it's very early in the morning and I smell the coffee brewing, the world is about to "wake up" and I'm going to snuggle on my glider to witness the birth of this new day. I'll be back now a couple times a week posting all the events and workshops taking place with "Paint with a View" and also introducing you to exciting new happenings in the world of paint and creativity.

Benefit Workshop Dates in the NW

CeCe Caldwell Benefit Paint Workshop featuring CeCe Caldwell I love the city that I live in and the people that live here. I was raised in Spokane. I have moved away a couple of times but always came back home....to Spokane. Of course, all of my family are here so that is one of the big reasons. One of the other reasons are because of the other wonderful people and organizations that are based in Spokane.  One of the those wonderful organizations is Project H.O.P.E Spokane.   Our Mission: “Project H.O.P.E provides the means for disadvantaged youth in Spokane’s West Central and Emerson Garfield neighborhoods to escape poverty and gang affiliation through entrepreneurial initiatives.”   In response to gang fatalities, neighbors of West Central created Project H.O.P.E. (a 501c3, Not for Profit). First, there was a safe place, an open gym in a church. Then, it began to teach life skills. Four years ago, they’d grown to include five community gardens called Riverfront Farms, and a lawn care business called Jobs Not Jails, both run by at-risk-youth from the neighborhood along with a variety of volunteers. During recent years Riverfront Farms has grown to include nine garden lots, and a Farmers’ Market. Riverfront also sells produce at stores that had not previously offered more “food” than a common gas station.   This year, they are re-landscaping several garden plots to be more productive and sustainable. One lot is oriented mostly for education purposes. They are all volunteers.  This program is open to kids 8 - 18 and the amount that can participate is only limited by funding. With this in mind -  Western Regions CeCe Caldwells Paint and Products, Debi Weber Design from Paradise Valley, AZ and Orphaned Decor Present Project H.O.P.E Benefit Workshop September 8th, 2012 This class will be taught by Anne Skougard -  House of Anne– Western Region Distributer for CeCe Caldwells Paint. Anne has over 40 years of experience as a decorator and knows all of the tricks of the trade. Using CeCe Caldwell’s All Green, NO VOC’s Paints and Waxes – you will learn how to use this amazing Clay and Chalk Based paint – water distressing, sand paper distressing, layering colors, crackle finishes, proper waxing techniques and use of Satin Finish and more.  The Ce Ce Caldwell   CeCe Caldwells Paints will also be in the house to answer all of your questions and show us some of her tricks as well. In the afternoon, you will spend time completing a take home project provided by the Western Region. This class is limited to 35 people per class so that we can provide everyone with one on one help as needed. Western Region Retailers will be on hand to help you with techniques and project questions and suggestions. Debi Weber from Debi Weber Designs  will also be in attendance and happy to answer any decorating questions that you may have. So much talent under one roof….you don’t want to miss this event. Refreshments, Sweets, Coffee and Tea Bar,  and a Box Lunch will be provided. You will also be entered into a drawing to win some great prizes. *Everything is included – just wear your painting clothes and be ready to have fun. I'm getting closer to heaven......

Just touching base and letting everyone know I love your comments and I will eventually respond to them all. It's all I can do at the moment to go back and forth to Prescott to our new home and studio on the hill, almost touching heaven. It's pure agony every time I have to lock up and go back to CA for yet "another load". Soon it will be completed and a new journey will begin. My new studio has been named......"Paint with a View". Talk about inspiring and serene.

CeCeCaldwell paints, wax and now a totally new satin finish....all GREEN is over the top with inquiries and retailers joining the family. Destination workshops are underway as well as workshops in each state/region teaching beautiful applications for all types of projects. I will post contacts etc. in the Western Region before the weekend is over....and I promise to sit right down and catch you all up on EVERYTHING. Until then....enjoy your weekend.

It's a new day....

The paint drama "out there" has just about taken a toll on me....one unethical person trying to control product lines and good people is wrong!I do believe what "goes around comes around" and it is time for it all to "come around".
You all need to know about the wonderful Retailers in your area stocking CeCe Caldwells amazing paint. I will post names, locations etc. and just how you can order paint/products. My website is once again being updated, meanwhile, you can check out CeCe Caldwells website if you have any questions. The 3rd Paint n the Wine Country Workshop will be on two separate days now.....March 21 and 22nd. The response is so great we had to add another day. Wahooooooooooooooooo....paint is going to fly again.
Other great news is Designer Annette Tatum's beautiful wall paint has just been introduced and made available. Lots of fun things are going to happen with her colors and fabrics. Be watching for awesome wall embellishments created especially with you in mind. It will be as simple as 1-2-3, it's just that easy. Until next week when I can focus on all the good in the world, amazing creativity and all my favorite people....have a good rest of the week.

Tuesday, February 14, 2012

The 3rd Paint n Wine Country Workshop is on.......!

Last week was so much fun and all the people that attended the workshop were "over the top" with enthusiasm and creativity. We painted and played with CeCeCaldwell's paint and beautiful wax. We did a little zinc. We plastered and embossed designs. We foiled. We CRACKLED big time, various mediums and methods. I've been invited back for the 3rd Paint n Wine Country Workshop and not only will it be offered one day but two. March 21 is open for registration, March 22nd is FULL. Please register on my website to be sure and get a space. I am going to be comping TWO spaces again. To enter, go to my HouseofAnne Facebook page....Like it and send me a short message as to why you should be selected. The March workshop will be teaching brand new applications using fabrics, foils, embellisments, powders and more crackle and colored waxed techniques. I am going to post photo's of last weeks workshop...I apologize everyone is not in the group photo, I couldn't pry some away from their projects! Check back later in the week to read about "destination workshops, local workshops, Retailers in your areas, new CeCe Colors debuting in February and March and products new to the industry. I'm off.....2nd Paint n Wine Country Workshop

Next week I should be back to some kind of order in the house!

Today the car is packed and I'm ready to head out for Sonoma, CA. to the beautiful Sonoma Country Antiques and European Furniture Shop. We are going to have a great time introducing two new products, Ce Ce Caldwells beautiful paint that comes in 21 colors with 12 more coming in March. The paint is GREEN...no acrylic and the wax is all natural...NO PETROLEUM and made in the USA. Beautiful applications will be taught and PAINT WILL FLY. I will be introducing two new Retailers in the Bay area and I will be setting up a third Retailer on my way home in the San Joaquin Valley. February 24 and 25th will be here fast. Here is the information on the two day workshop hosted by Interior Designer Debi Weber at the base of Camel Back Mountain.....talk about inspiration.
I am still looking for Retailers in Utah, Nevada, Alaska and Hawaii. Please contact me if you are interested in becoming a part of the CeCeCaldwell family. Have a great day.....a great life and don't forget to embrace the moment and tell your family and friends how much they are appreciated and loved.

Do you know how hard it is to "sit down"?

I need to sit myself down and bring my posts up to date. I have destination workshops, Canyon Lake workshops, Ce Ce Caldwell Retailer locations, products, applications, need I go on, that I need to bring everyone up to date with. The Holidays are always great fun but this year it totally put me back in my routine and schedule, maybe that is good....maybe it's Gods way to say, "slow it down" and "be here now". It's a New Year......and a busy one already. Ce Ce Caldwell's Paints are taking off like wild fire, we knew they would since they are totally green without any acrylic and even the containers are eco-friendly. Retailers are coming on board in the Western Division as well as throughout the U.S.A. and Canada. Exciting times. Instead of rambling....I'm going to post this and ask you to please be patient....I will get it all together by the weekend....even my website is under construction. Whew. Enjoy this day....and don't forget to tell your friends and family how much you love them and appreciate who they are.

ooops..

I think the revised post happened....if it didn't, I still have problems, I apologize. I'll try it again...but not tonight...I'm done!

Whew.....I finally get to post

HAPPY NEW YEARS.... Wow, it took four days to figure out what happened and how to get back into my House of Anne blogspot. The only thing I want to caution is that there are people out there that "borrow" what isn't theirs and totally mess up what was "yours". Enough said, just be aware. I want to post photo's.....just a little apprehensive, I want to see how this post plays out. I don't know about you but I am glad 2011 is closed. It was a very exciting year but on the flip side of the coin, a year that demonstrated to me the true meaning of life. FAMILY.....FRIENDS.......INTEGRITY......COURTESY.....and RESPECT, personal and in business. Family....I am blessed. Beautiful, smart and creative children (grown) and over the top, grandchildren. My son Marty, in the Army...serving his country in Afghanistan, with the integrityand wisdom of an American soldier. Doing this all for the love of his family, friends and country. His awesome family that had to get through the holidays without a husband and dads physical presence...not fun....but done so with pride and faith. I am so proud of Dawn, Cody, Noah, Hayleyanne and Hannah. My son Marc, a loyal, patient, respectful man. A quiet man but when he speaks you listen. Amy, Austin and Kate.....wife, son and daughter....a model American family. My daughter...Kellyanne. What can I say. She is a woman of strength and resilience....give her a challenge and she steps right up to the plate. A mother of five children, raising them with fortitude and love of a single parent. Kellyanne has always amazed me and in the past year totally shocked me with her talent for business and creativity in the world of paint. Although we each paint, teach and create....we do so with competitive products, but it's ok because we respect and love one another.....nothing of a "material" source can come between us. I need to mention my husband and friends.......thank you....I love you for letting me be me! My friends have been well entertained through life and my husband, well all I can say is, "thank you for your patience, respect, support and love". I say "thank you" every morning before I get out of bed.....and I say it again before I slip into a semblance of sleep ( I don't like to sleep, a waste of time for me....I so love the surprise of each new day".) Ok...enough! Briefly...I am the Western Distributor for CeCeCaldwell's Paints, Waxes and Products....what is going to happen in the next 90 days will be amazing! GREEN, no acrylic in our paint and NO PETROLEUM in our waxes......safe for children and pets as well as the artisan. Workshops are scheduled throughout 9 Western states....Retailers in place ready to let the "paint fly" and total excitement in the world of "environmental conscience citizens".

February 17th and 18th there will be a 2 day workshop in Paradise Valley, AZ. Debi Weber, renown Designer will be the host with Anna Sadler, an amazing artisan will be participating in a workshop segment. Information will be posted soon and space will be limited.
I want to address Amy Howard at Home and Annette Tatum.....two talented Designers that I am involved with and representing their beautiful products. I'll do that next time since I'm not totally sure how this posting will display after the "tampering". Ok, I test "posted".....let's hope this is good. I wish you all the most wonderful year of your life. Enjoy NOW.....remember YESTERDAY and TOMORROW's aren't ours.
Let the Paint FLY.....all over our beautiful world!

HOUSE OF ANNE

I am working hard to get this "blog" back up and running.....as I told you yesterday, my blog was hacked into removing the header, gadgets linking to my website and all of you followers. I will post this evening the winner for the 21 CeCeCaldwell's Paints and also the "comped" space for the Paint 'n' Wine Country Workshop in Sonoma on January 26th. This is not a fun way to start the year but I guess, bygones are bygones and this needs a new beginning. Please check back later.

Happy New Year but a BIG HICCUP with my BLOG

I so apologize for whatever has happened to my blog......everything disappeared...it's called BLOG SPAM and HACKING....not good. Please be patient while I get it up and running....very frustrating and so much to tell.
